Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans)
The mission of VTrans is to provide for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods throughout the state, with a vision of creating a safe, reliable and multimodal transportation system that promotes Vermont’s quality of life and economic wellbeing. Our goals are to provide a safe and resilient transportation system in an environmentally responsible manner; preserve, maintain and operate the transportation system in the most cost effective and efficient manner; provide Vermonters energy efficient, travel choices/options; provide quality customer service; and develop a workforce to meet the strategic needs of the Agency.
